Ducks sign defender Bryan Allen to 3-year deal

The Anaheim Ducks have added a defense men shortly into free agency.

The Ducks have agreed to a three-year deal with Bryan Allen. It is not known how much the contract is worth.

Last season, he was a member of the Carolina Hurricanes and played in all 82 games. He had one goal and 14 points in those games.

Allen has previously played for the Vancouver Canucks, Florida Panthers, and Hurricanes. He was the 4th overall pick in the 1998 NHL draft and has 29 goals and 89 assists in 601 career games.
