Tuukka Rask is the latest NHL player to play overseas during the NHL lockout.
This morning, he has signed a contract with Skoda Plzen of the Czech Elite League. The contract is just for the lock out, allowing him to come back to the Boston Bruins when the lockout is over.
Rask will be flying to the Czeck Republic on Tuesday. He is expected to play as early as this coming Sunday.
He will be the Bruins No. 1 net minder once the lockout is over. Tim Thomas, who was the goalie the past several seasons, has supposedly retired.
