San Diego Padres outfielder Carlos Quentin is expected to undergo surgery.
He will have another arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. The surgery is expected to take place shortly after the season ends.
Back in March, he had surgery on the same knee, but he has been affected by the knee since September 19th. He has been dealing with soreness in the knee since that date.
He is expected to be a 100 percent by spring training.
“My training regimen, I’ll change some of that, some of it will be weight loss, some of it will be rest,” he said. “But it will all be geared toward staying on the field.”
