On Thanksgiving, it is all about spending time with friends and family mixed in with football.
Unfortunately for New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman, he was injured on NBC’s Sunday Night Football on Thanksgiving. He left the game in the third quarter.
He took a helmet-to-helmet hit from New York Jets safety LaRon Landry. Edelman took the ball from a hand off in the backfield, before being hit by Landry.
He fumbled on the play after the hit and had to be assisted off the field.
He had two receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown. He also returned a fumbled kick off for a touchdown, before being hurt.
