The Tennessee Titans have decided that they will not be like other teams today and fire their head coach.
The Titans, have however, decided to keep head coach Mike Munchak around for another season. It is a mild surprise since Titans owner Bud Adams, who is 90-years-old, routinely slammed the Titans performances this season.
He is also the same owner that decided to keep Jeff Fisher around for 17-years. Adams clearly values stability in a head coach.
The Titans finished with a 6-10 record on the season with Jake Locker and Matt Hasselback splitting time at quarterback. The Titans were outscored by 141 points on the season.
Munchak will be entering his third season as Titans come the 2013 season.
