After her story on James Blake on “Face to Face with Hannah Storm,” Storm announced that ESPN will run another segment on Wednesday. She said this one will be on Thabo Sefolosha, the Atlanta Hawks forward, who also had an incident with the New York Police Department.

Sefolosha is reportedly going to sue the NYPD and the City of New York for $50 million after the charges of resisting arrest charges against him were dropped. In his lawsuit, he’s claiming that he suffered permanent injuries from the incident.

He was injured in April outside of a New York City nightclub, 1OAK, in Chelsea, as he suffered a broken lower-right leg and ligament damage.

This caused him to miss the Hawks playoff run. With him, they were one of the best teams in the league, then fell off without him in their post-season journey.

“I will simply say that I am in great pain, have experienced a significant injury, and that the injury was caused by the police,” Sefolosha told the media in April.

TMZ reported on April 8, 2015 that Indiana Pacers Chris Copeland and his girlfriend were stabbed outside of the New York City nightclub.

Sefolosha and Pero Antić were arrested and charged with resisting arrest and Obstructing Government Administration. Copeland and his girlfriend were allegedly stabbed by Shezoy Bleary, who allegedly used a switchblade during the attack.
