2019 Commanders vs. Iron Week 4 preview

The San Antonio Commanders face the Birmingham Iron in the first game of Sunday’s Week 4 action at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama. This is the Commanders second straight road game, while the Iron host their first game since Week 2.

The game will kick off at 4 pm EST, 3 pm local time. The game will be on CBS Sports Network.

This is the first meeting of the two teams this season.

The Commanders will attempt to win their second game of the season. They have a 1-2 mark.

Presently, the Commanders are tied with the Salt Lake Stallions with a 1-2 record at the bottom of the Western Conference.

The Iron will attempt to win their fourth game. They presently have one of two undefeated records in the entire league.

Birmingham is tied with the Orlando Apollos atop the Eastern Conference with the 3-0 record.

Commanders quarterback Logan Woodside has gone 50 of 98 for 629 yards. He also has two touchdowns and five interceptions.

Kenneth Farrow, II leads the Commanders with 36 carries for 138 yards. He also has two touchdowns.

Mekale McKay leads San Antonio with 11 receptions for 207 yards and a touchdown.

Iron quarterback Luis Perez has gone 60 of 102 for 595 yards. He also has one interception.

Trent Richardson led the Iron with 59 carries for 145 yards. He also has six touchdowns.

Quinton Patton leads the team with 11 receptions for 209 yards
