Like the Bandits, a conditional future pick will be going to the City of Brotherly Love. This will be a third-round pick.

“We are very excited for Zach to join the Philadelphia Wings,” Wings GM/Head Coach Paul Day said. “He has had experience as a starter in the NLL. He is 28 years old and we think he is ready to take the next step.”

Buchan made his NLL debut with the Wings during their return to the league after several years away. He was previously drafted by the Saskatchewan Rush in the second round of the 2015 NLL Draft.

He appeared in 17 games. He had a .749 save percentage and a 13.17 goals against average.

Higgins played his first NLL game against the Wings in 2014 when he was a member of the Minnesota Swarm on January 18, 2014. His first NLL start came a few weeks later on February 1st against the Colorado Mammoth.
