For the first-time ever, WrestleMania will be unique. The biggest night in wrestling will not be one night ‘tis time around.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, WrestleMania will be two nights. The shows will take place on Saturday, April 4th and Sunday, April 5th.
The event will be hosted by former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski. Last week, we reported that he was finalizing an agreement with the company.
It’s not clear if Gronkowski will transition into a wrestler following WrestleMania. But Gronkowski will reveal more details on this unique WrestleMania experience.
WrestleMania has been moved from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida due to the outbreak. The event was moved to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
This is where WWE has been hosting last week’s SmackDown show. This past Monday, they also hosted Raw at the venue.
However, the outbreak has caused WWE to host events without fans. It’ll be the first pay-per-view hosted by the company without fans.
WrestleMania 36 will be the first one from the Performance Center. It’ll be the second WrestleMania in Orlando, Florida in the last four-years, as WrestleMania 33 was hosted at Camping World Stadium in Orlando in 2017.
