Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has signed a free agent contract with the Dallas Cowboys. He reunites with Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy.
The two were previously together from 2014 through 2018. He was with the Packers for the four-plus seasons, before he was traded to the Washington Redskins.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. However, his deal comes just days after former Cowboys safety Jeff Heath signed with the Las Vegas Raiders.
This will be his fourth team in the NFL. He was a first-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers.
Besides playing for the Packers, he has also played for the Washington Redskins and the Chicago Bears. This will be his third team in as many years since the 2018 season.
The 27-year-old Orlando, Florida native played an entire season for the Bears. He appeared in 16 games, including 16 starts.
He had 78 tackles, while also having two interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown. He also had two fumble recoveries and five pass deflections.
In his career, he has appeared in 96 games, including 90 starts. He has had 522 tackles, including eight tackles for a loss and eight quarterback hits. He also has 5.5 sacks in his career.
Clinton-Dix also has 16 interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown; four forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, including one fumble recovery; and 33 pass deflections.
He is the latest free agent signing by the Cowboys. The team also recently signed Gerald McCoy to a multi-year agreement.
