There is a really good chance the Boston Celtics release swingman Marquis Daniels.

Daniels would only be released if he wants to play elsewhere. Right now, the Celtics have not decided to release him.

He signed a one-year deal with the Celtics in the off-season. But he has seen limited time in his second year in Boston.

He has been stuck on the bench for much of this season. He is averaging 2.8 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 27 games.

This month, he has appeared in three games. He scored 8 points in 20 minutes on March 17th.

He scored two points in six minutes in Sacramento on March 16th. In his last home appearance, he scored zero points in five minutes on March 9th against the Portland TrailBlazers.
