Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Matt Bush has been arrested.

Bush has been arrested for leaving the scene of an accident with an injury. He was also charged with DUI and property damage, while suffering serious injuries in the accident.

Bush was formerly the No. 1 overall pick by the San Diego Padres, and has been in and out of legal trouble through the past eight years. Shortly after he was drafted by the Padres in 2004, he was suspended for his role in a fight in an Arizona night club.

In 2009, he was involved in a druken assault on a high school campus.

Bush signed a minor league deal with the Rays to try to re-start his career as a reliever.
