The Arizona Cardinals have re-signed defensive end Calais Campbell.
Campbell signed a five-year contract with Cardinals. His new contract is worth $55 million.
He will receive $36 million over the next three years. And his new contract is more than the six-year, $56 million dollar contract that Darnell Dockett signed with the Cardinals.
Campbell was given the non-exclusive franchise tag in early March. He is expected to make $10.6 million under the franchise tag.
He started 16 games last season and made a career high 73 tackles. He also had eight sacks, two forced fumbles, and an interception.
In his career, he has made 208 tackles and 21 sacks in 63 career games. He has also blocked five field goals since the 2008 season.
