Gary Brackett has been cleared to sign with a team.

Brackett, a free agent linebacker, has received medical clearance to resume his playing career. He tore his left rotator cuff during the 2011 season.

He was released by the Indianapolis Colts on March 9th, as they cleaned out after a horrible season by their standards. After the release, he received little to no interest.

Now, with doctors clearance, he may receive some interest. However, he has been injury-prone in his career.

His age at 32 may affect some teams from giving him a call. Some also say that he’s an undersized 4-3 linebacker that has little to none run-stopping skills.

If he signs with a team, he will receive the veteran’s league minimum.
