The Jacksonville Jaguars are not expected to release wide receiver Mike Thomas.

Thomas is due $1 million this season and a million for the 2013 season. He also received $1.5 million of a $3.5 million dollar roster bonus this past March.

He will receive the next $2 million next spring. Even with his low salary, he was a big disappointment last year.

Reports have indicated that he has not looked good at the OTA’s, but his roster spot is safe. He will have to fight off Cecil Shorts as the Jaguars slot receiver.

Justin Blackmon and Laurent Robinson are expected to be the starter.
