The Indiana Pacers would like to re-sign restricted free agent Roy Hibbert, but word is he would like to play elsewhere.

Hibbert, according to NBA.com’s David Aldridge, would like to play for the Portland Trail Blazers. The Blazers reportedly made a max offer to him.

In addition, there is indications that he was blown away by the offer that was made by Blazers GM Neil Olshey. However, the Pacers can match the max offer.

The only way that Hibbert is a lock to go to the Pacers is if the Blazers have thrown in a poison bill into his contract. It is very likely that the team will do that.
