The Los Angeles Dodgers may be getting two former Philadelphia Phillies starting pitchers.
The Dodgers just acquired Joe Blanton for basically nothing, as it was a salary dump. And the Dodgers were awarded the claiming rights on left-handed pitcher Cliff Lee.
Now, the Dodgers have three-days to work out a deal with the Phillies. There are some indication that a deal may take longer to work out.
The Phillies have the right to pull back Lee from the waiver wire and keep him. Lee has been on the market for a month now, so it looks more and more like they want to get rid of him.
