For the second straight week, an NFL player has lost a member of his family.

Last week, the Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson lost his grandmother prior to the game with the San Diego Chargers. Now, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith has lost his younger brother.

Tevin Smith died in a motorcycle accident. Torrey left the Ravens with a security member around 2 am once he found out the news.

The accident took place near M&T Bank Stadium, which is the home of the Ravens. It is also where Smith will be playing the game later tonight with a heavy heart against the New England Patriots.

Smith wrote on Twitter, “@ TorreySmithWR I can’t say a bad thing about him…proud to have him as a brother…RIP Tevin http:// instagr.am/p/P61i4nk-QR/”
