On Wednesday, the Oakland Raiders worked out free agent defensive end Marcus Benard.
He has received little interest since being released by the Cleveland Browns. He reached an injury settlement with the Browns earlier this month, which resulted in his release from the team.
Last week, he worked out for the Arizona Cardinals. However, they have not expressed an interest in signing Benard at this time.
The Raiders signed veteran Andre Carter a couple of days ago, but are trying to spark their pass rush. The team currently is the bottom of the entire league with just seven sacks.
