The Arizona Diamondbacks are interested in free agent infielder Jeff Keppinger.
He made $1.525 million last season, and no contract have been offered to him by the D’Backs, as of yet. Keppinger played last season with the Tampa Bay Rays.
He had a .325 batting average with 15 doubles, 9 home runs, and 40 RBI’s in 418 plate appearances. He played in 115 games for the Rays.
He played in 27 games at first base and 27 games at second base. He also played 50 games at third base and 20 games as designated hitter.
He could possibly start with the Snakes if the two sides can agree on a contract.
