Batch to start for the Steelers after injuries to Leftwich and Roethlisberger

The Pittsburgh Steelers will have their third quarterback in as many weeks in Week 12.

Charlie Batch

The Steelers will start Pittsburgh native Charlie Batch against the Cleveland Browns. He last started a game in Week 16 of last season against the St. Louis Rams.

In that game, the Steelers won 27-0. He threw for 208 yards and a touchdown in the win.

Ben Roethlisberger is out with a shoulder injury and Byron Leftwich, who started on Sunday, has two broken ribs. The team could also sign a free agent to back up Batch for the game.
