Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart left Monday night’s game.

Jonathan Stewart

Stewart left the game with an ankle injury. He did not return to the game.

He left near the end of the third quarter and was replaced by DeAngelo Williams. It was a mediocre night, as he rushed 8 times for 27 yards and caught two passes for nine yards, before leaving.

He even lost a goal-line opportunity to Cam Newton. This came on the opening drive of the second half.
