PGA Tour golfer Bart Bryant has passed away. He was 59.
An official cause of death has not been announced yet. According to TMZ Sports, Bryant passed away in a car accident.
“The PGA Tour is saddened by the tragic passing of Bart Bryant and our hearts go out to his family and friends during this difficult time,” PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan said in a statement. “The Bryants have been a part of the PGA Tour family for over four decades and we are grateful for the impact and legacy he made on our organization and countless communities. Bart will be dearly missed.”

He began his professional golfing career in 1986. However, while he had been competing, Bryant did not win his first event until he was 40-years-old when he won The Memorial.
In his career, he also won the 2005 Playoff Finale (Tour Championship) and the 2007 Valero Texas Open.
He won the Texas Open by three strokes over runner-up Patrick Sheehan. He won the Memorial Tournament by one stroke over runner-up Fred Couples.

Then, in the Tour Championship, he defeated runner-up Tiger Woods by six strokes.
He is survived by his wife Donna. He is also survived by his two children. His first wife Cathy Cox passed away in April 2017 due to brain cancer.
