The Milwaukee Bucks signed center Jared Reiner. His contract will last the rest of the season.
He was initially signed by the Bucks to a 10-day deal on Feb. 8. He then received another 10-day deal on Feb. 18.
With the Bucks in seven games, he had 1.7 rebounds in 7 minutes per game. Against the Indiana Pacers on Feb. 21, he had a career-high two assists along with five rebounds, two points and a steal in 23 minutes.

Prior to being called up to the NBA, Reiner started 28 games for the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the NBA D-League. There, he averaged 13.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in 31.9 minutes per game.
When he was still playing in the D-League, he was tied for seventh in the league in rebounds per game.
The 24-year-old played in 19 games with the Chicago Bulls during the 2004-05 season. With the Bulls, he averaged 1.1 points and 2.0 rebounds in 6.9 minutes per game.
After playing for the Bulls, he signed with the Phoenix Suns for the 2005-06 season. However, he was waived by the team on Jan. 5, 2006, without ever playing in a game.

He signed with the San Antonio Spurs in Oct. 2006. He appeared in three preseason games with the team, before being released.
Reiner, who played college basketball with the Iowa Hawkeyes, appeared in 109 games, including 79 starts. He averaged 5.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.3 steals, and 0,8 blocks per game. He played for Iowa from 2000-01 through 2003-04.
