The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night. The Mavericks won 95-92 at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
The Mavericks improved to 49-9 on the season. The Cavaliers fell to 33-25.
Dallas made 23 shots in the first half, but struggled in the second half, as they only made 15 shots. They went 38 of 80 for the game. They also struggled from three-point range, as they went 4 of 12 from deep.

Cleveland made 26 shots through the first three quarters. Then, in the fourth quarter, the team made 13 shots en route to a game-high 30 points in the quarter. The Cavaliers also struggled from three-point range, as they went 5 of 18.
Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavericks in scoring with 24 points. He also had 11 rebounds and seven assists.
Nowitzki was one of five Dallas players, who scored in double-figures. Jason Terry added 20, while Josh Howard had 17, and both Erick Dampier and Jerry Stackhouse had 10 points each.
The Mavericks had 24 bench points. Stackhouse led the bench with 10 points.
LeBron James led the Cavaliers with 39 points. He also had three rebounds and five assists.

James was one of three Cleveland players, who scored in double-digits. Donyell Marshall had 14 points, while Sasha Pavlović also had 11.
The Cavaliers had 31 bench points. Marshall led the bench with his 14 points.
