The Spokane Shock has announced they have signed free agent quarterback Andrico Hines and free agent fullback/linebacker Geoff Kirkendall. Both players have been assigned for the 2007 season.
Hines, who is six-foot-two, played college football with the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders. He had 4,296 yards, which is the sixth most all-time.
He had 153 passes, which ranks fourth all-time, along with seven touchdowns and three interceptions.
“Andrico is a very athletic quarterback, who played against top-flight opponents throughout his college career,” head coach Adam Shackleford. “His college experience prepared him for an excellent professional career that he will continue here in Spokane.”
Kirkendall, who is six-foot-one, joins the Shock after playing for Wheaton College. He had 67 tackles, including 6.5 tackles for a loss. He also had a sack in two seasons.
“I want to play for a winning team, but to be able to play for a new program and a team that won it all? You can’t beat that!,” Kirkendall said about returning to the Great Northwest.
