The New Jersey Devils have acquired a 2008 NHL Draft seventh-round pick from the Minnesota Wild. In exchange for the pick, right winger Aaron Voros goes to Minnesota.
The 25-year-old Voros is in his third season. He has primarily played for Lowell in the American Hockey League this season.
There he had nine goals and eight assists for 17 points and 111 penalty minutes in 39 games.
In 39 games with the Devils, he has nine goals and eight assists for 17 points. He also has 111 penalty minutes.
Prior to playing for the Devils, he played three seasons with the Albany River Rats, also in the American Hockey League. In those seasons, he has combined for a 153 games, 29 goals and 32 assists for 88 points.
With the River Rats, he also had 414 penalty minutes. He also had a 29 +/-.
He played college hockey at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.
