UFC 68: The Uprising Preliminary Card results

In the preliminary card of UFC 68: The Uprising from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday night, Matt Hamill defeated Rex Holman in light heavyweight action prior to the main card. Hamill won via TKO punches in the first-round at the 4 minute mark.

Jon Fitch won his welterweight match over Luigi Fioravanti in the second round. He won with a rear-naked choke submission at the 3:05 mark in the second-round.

Gleison Tibau and Jason Dent was the only under card fight to go the distance. Tibau defeated Dent by a unanimous decision in lightweight action. The judges all had a 30-27 score on the fight.

Jamie Varner won the first right of the under card. He won the lightweight bout against Jason Gilliam with a first-round TKO (rear-naked choke) at 1:34.
