This is Johnson’s third Las Vegas win in his career. It is also Hendrick Motorsports’ 150th win.

Johnson took the lead with 28 laps remaining and then maintained it through the end of the race.

“Everything is still ahead of me and nothing is set, and we have to go out there and perform,” Johnson said. “This has been a strong track for us in the past, but I’m just trying very hard to not get ahead of myself and understand it is a new week.”

Chevrolet has had two of the three winners this season. Harvick also drove a Chevrolet to Victory Lane in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Jeff Gordon finished No. 2 as Hendrick Motorsports had the top 2 finishers. Denny Hamlin finished third.

Johnson led 89 laps in the Lowe’s entry. Gordon led 111 laps in the DuPont/Nicorette entry.
