NASCAR Cup Series driver Jimmie Johnson is the first repeat winner during the 2007 season. He has won back-to-back races.
Johnson won the Kobalt Tools 500 on Sunday. He won the race at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia.

The Hendrick Motorsports driver also won last weekend in Las Vegas.
Johnson took the lead with just three laps remaining. This is his 25th NASCAR Cup Series win in his career.

“We just kept working on it all day long,” Johnson said. “The car really came alive there at the end, and I knew if I could get a good run, we’d have a shot. The guys gave me a great Lowe’s Chevrolet, and I’m just proud of this whole team.”
Tony Stewart finished second in his Home Depot entry. DeWalt-sponsored driver Matt Kenseth finished third.
Johnson led 135 laps. Stewart led 121 laps and Kenseth led 11 laps.

After this race, Mark Martin is the points leader with 629 points. Jeff Gordon is second, trailing by 8 points at 621 points.
Jeff Burton is third with 618 points and 11 points behind the leader.
