Dixon had the starting line advantage. However, the two drivers were nearly tied halfway down the track.

As the drivers passed half-track, Bernstein took the lead and won the race. This is Bernstein’s fifth win this season — and it is his first win since winning the O’Reilly NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals in Bristol, Tennessee on July 8th.

This is the most wins that Bernstein has had in a season in his career. He now has 17th national event wins.
