Carl Edwards wins the Dodge Dealers 400 at Dover

Office Depot driver Carl Edwards has claimed the Monster Mile. Edwards won the Dodge Dealers 400 on Sunday at Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware.
 
He led 95 of the 400 laps. Edwards had the second-highest laps led, as Matt Kenseth had 192. However, Kenseth was not a factor late as he had engine problems and exited the race on lap 374.
 
This is Edwards’ third race win of the season. He also claimed victories at Michigan and Bristol.

He first won the Citizens Bank 400 on Sunday, June 17th, at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan. Edwards won the Sharpie 500 on Saturday, August 25th, at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. 
 
He now has seven career wins in the NASCAR Nextel Series. His first win in the highest level of the sport came at Atlanta in 2005.
 
Edwards finished third at the other Dover race this season. Martin Truex Jr. secured his first career win at Dover in June.
 
Ford drivers finished in the top 2 spots. Nintendo Wii driver Greg Biffle finished in second place.
 
Following the two Ford drivers, Chevrolet had the next five spots. Dale Earnhardt Inc. drivers Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Mark Martin finished in the third and fourth positions.
 
Kellogg’s and Carquest driver Kyle Busch finished in the fifth position.
