Cam Newton, the junior quarterback from the Auburn Tigers, recently took time to do a Heisman Q&A with The Capital Sports Report before the Heisman trophy ceremony.
TCSR: What are the ingredients to the Camy Cam Juice?

CM: “It’s a good thing. I can’t spill the beans, but it’s something that I don’t take too seriously. A lot of the guys on the team laugh about the whole thing. Sooner or later, the information will be spilled to the media.”

TCSR: Have you had any time to walk around New York, or you’ve been pretty busy with your responsibilities?
CM: “No, I haven’t. But that time will come soon. I share something great with three guys that I’ve never met before. I’ve seen them on TV, but it is something very rewarding as a player.”
TCSR: What’s it going to be like facing LaMichael James, fellow Heisman candidate, on the same field at the National Championship game?
CM: “Something has been said here and something has been said there. But as far as the game goes, we haven’t talked about the game. I think he’s a great player. Hopefully, he respects me enough. What’s on the field happens on the field, while what’s off the field, hopefully, we can be friends.”
TCSR: What do you have to say to the fans right now?
CM: “Thank you. I don’t think I can express that enough. I give a big War Eagle to everybody in the Auburn family. Thank you for supporting me in whatever I’ve been doing.”

TCSR: Have you thought about what you are going to say when you win the award?
CM: “I don’t know. You are going to have to see. I might even wing it.”
