The Bowling Green State University Falcons men’s basketball team is expected to get a huge boost funding wise. Findlay, Ohio native William Frack has followed the men’s basketball team for six decades, and now he’s making a contribution to the team.
Frack has decided to make a huge investment in the team, as he has made a series of irrevocable trusts that has a combined value of more than $10 million. Frack’s contributions is the single largest private gift in Bowling Green’s history.
It is also the largest one-time gift ever given to a Mid-American Conference basketball program.

This is not the first-time that Frack’s has given to the Bowling Green program. He has provided leadership gifts to help start the Stroh Center, the University’s new Arena and Convocation Center that opened this past fall.

“This is a program changer for Falcon basketball,” Director of Athletics Greg Christopher said. “Bill’s gift is an extraordinary gesture and dramatically impacts the future of the men’s program. For decades, our coaches have worked hard with modest resources. Once fully endowed, Bill’s fund will allow BGSU to support men’s basketball at a level similar to elite non-BCS programs.”
