The New York Knicks have made their final offer to the Denver Nuggets.
The Knicks are not going any further with offers for Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony. The final offer is reportedly Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, Eddy Curry, and a draft pick for Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Renaldo Balkman, and Shelden Williams.
If the Nuggets accept the Knicks offer, they would be getting three legitimate starters in return for the two starts they would be losing. Billups and Anthony are the starters that the Nuggets would lose, while the Nuggets would receive starters Felton, Gallinari, and Chandler, with an expiring contract in Curry.
Now, the Nuggets have to make the final decision. The NBA hopes for a resolution in the coming days. The Knicks starting lineup would be Billups, Landry Fields, Anthony, Amar’e Stoudemire and Timofey Mozgov if they acquire Anthony.
