Isiah Thomas is calling the shots for an NBA team again.
Thomas, the current Florida International head coach, is once again acting as the New York Knicks top basketball executive, according to Yahoo! Sports Writer Adrian Wojnarowski. It’s unclear why Thomas is in control of the Knicks again, but it is expected to drive Donnie Walsh out of town.
“Isiah is calling the shots for New York,” said one front-office executive with knowledge of the Carmelo Anthony trade talks. “It’s a disgrace. Donnie should walk.”
Now, it is known why the Knicks are suddenly willing to give up three starters for Carmelo Anthony. Donnie Walsh would never give up that many starters in a trade.
