The Cleveland Cavaliers are going to keep Antwan Jamison and Mo Williams.
The Cavaliers are not expected to trade either player prior to Thursday’s trade deadline, according to the Akron Beacon Journal. The Cavaliers have been shopping both veterans very hard, but could not find any takers for their massive contracts. The uncertain CBA is making it very hard to make trades.
The Cavaliers, instead, are expected to trade Ramon Sessions and Anthony Parker with their contracts. Sessions is outplaying Williams, even though Williams is currently dealing with a sprained ankle.
Once Sessions is traded, Williams will be the Cavaliers starting point guard for the rest of the year.
