Troy Murphy is officially on the NBA free agent market.
Murphy has been released from the Golden State Warriors after reaching a buy-out agreement with the team on Monday. He was released five days after the team acquired him from the New Jersey Nets.
Murphy already has three Eastern Conference suitors on his radar. The Miami Heat, the Boston Celtics, and the Orlando Magic are all interested in Murphy. It is unclear at this moment if any Western Conference teams are interested in signing Murphy.
Murphy was acquired by the Warriors on Wednesday. He was sent to the Warriors in the trade that the New Jersey Nets acquired Dan Gadzuric and Brandan Wright. The Warriors only have the Nets 2012 second round draft pick from the trade now.
