Shaun Rogers wasn’t out of work that long.
Rogers was released by the Cleveland Browns a few weeks ago. Now, Rogers has signed a one-year, $4 million dollar contract with the New Orleans Saints.
There are reports that Rogers turned down a $6 million offer to sign with a contender close to his Houston home. However, it is not clear who offered him that $6 million contract. He visited the Kansas City Chiefs, which could be that team.
Rogers is going to be a perfect fit next to Sedrick Ellis. Rogers could be a difference-maker, depending if he’s motivated to make a difference.
