There are conflicting reports about Tyreke Evans.
One report is from the spoken words of Sacramento Kings head coach Paul Westphal, and the others are the written words of NBA.com writer Jimmy Spencer. Spencer said he believes that Evans will be cleared to returned to practice after Tuesday’s appointment with his doctor.
Westphal said earlier that Evans would sit out practice after the meeting with his doctor.
“Assuming everything checks out okay, he’ll be cleared to start practicing and it will probably be a week to 10 days,” said Westphal. “I am getting ahead of it because this isn’t the doctor talking yet but that’s what we hope he will say and we have reason to think that will be the way it goes.”
Evans has played in 46 games this season, and is averaging 18.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game.
