The New York Knicks are going to be a little inexperienced in Game 2.
The Knicks are going to be without Chauncey Billups tonight in their game against the Boston Celtics in Boston. Billups injured his left knee late in the fourth quarter of the first game.
“I’m disappointed,” Billups said after missing Monday’s practice. “This is the worst time, and this is the worst that could possibly happen…It’s just frustrating, but that’s kind of the way the ball bounces, and hopefully I can get back soon.”
It is very possible that Billups will have to set out the remainder of the series. Toney Douglas would be the primary starter, with veteran Anthony Carter filling in at times, as well.
