Chris Martin has to find a new home.

Martin, a defensive end, has become a journeyman around the country in his short time of being a college student. Martin originally committed to Notre Dame as a non-binding verbal commit in 2009.

Martin then signed with California after decomitting from Notre Dame. After leaving Cal, he lands at the University of Florida. Martin wasn’t even at Florida for a year, before now leaving Florida.

Martin left Florida on Friday. It appears like he is going back to the Bay area with a school to be determined.

“Chris and his family have indicated that it might be the best for him to be closer to home,” said Gators head coach Will Muschamp in a prepared statement. “We wish him nothing but the best of luck.”
