According to the lawyer for former Penn State Nittany Lions assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, the two new child sex abuse claims against his client are ‘unfounded.’ This very confident lawyer says that one claim stems from a “Sandusky family dispute.”
In addition, the lawyer also says that the other victim was “trying to jump on the bandwagon.”
The former Nittany Lions defensive coordinator has been charged with sexually abusing eight boys over 15 years. In an interview on NBC’s “Rock Center,” Sandusky claims to have showered with the boys but never abused them.

Just yesterday, Joseph Amendola, the Sandusky attorney, said he claimed new victims would come forward against his client in the coming days. Sandusky has not been charged with these latest allegations.
While he is denying these claims, the authorities are going to investigate these claims as they did with the others. And if it is indeed true — with evidence linking him to the case — then the authorities will pursue additional charges against him.

The former Penn State player had worked at the school from 1969 through 1999. He also served as a graduate assistant with his alma mater in 1966.
After spending two seasons away from the program, Sandusky returned to University Park, Pennsylvania as their defensive line coach in 1969. Then, he was the Nittany Lions linebackers coach from 1970 through 1976.
He finally was the Nittany Lions defensive coordinator and linebackers coach from 1977 through 1999.
