The Akron head coach is expected to be fired after today’s game against Western Michigan. Akron plays Western Michigan at 1 pm.

In last year’s game, Western Michigan won, 56-10. The Broncos lead the all-time mark against the Zips, 12-4.

Going into the game, Ianello has a 2-20 mark. The team, under Ianello, is 1-13 in the Mid-American Conference in his two years as the head coach.

He replaced J. D. Brookhart, who had a 3-9 mark in his final season.
