O’Leary fired defensive coordinator John Skladany and linebackers coach Al Seamonson. In addition, Director of Player Personnel Albert Boone was fired, too.

Skladany was the Golden Knights defensive coordinator since 2010. He was previously the Golden Knights defensive coordinator in 2007, before leaving to coach at Houston in 2008.

Seamonson was in his first year on the staff. Both moves were made just days after the Golden Knights finished the season 5-7, and thus, failing to qualify for a bowl game.

Last year, the Golden Knights made it to the Liberty Bowl and won the game.
