The Philadelphia Soul have brought back their defensive anchor.
The Soul have announced that they have re-signed Darrell Campbell for the 2012 season. It will be his second season with the Soul.
Last season, he played in 18 games and led the team with nine sacks. His best game last season came in Week 10 against the Georgia Force, when he had two sacks and two tackles.
“It was important for us to bring Darrell back,” said Soul head coach Doug Plank. “He is a physical force on the defensive side of the ball and knows how to utilize his strength and speed to dominate his opponent. Darrell had a very impressive season last year and the fans should be very excited about the physicality he adds to our defensive line.”
