Tony Levine will be named the Houston Cougars head football coach. He replaces Kevin Sumlin, who recently accepted the head football coaching position at Texas A&M.

Levine was the assistant head coach and special teams’ coordinator under Sumlin. He came to Houston with Sumlin in 2008.

He was named the interim head coach once Sumlin left for College Station. He will coach the Cougars in the TicketCity Bowl in Dallas on January 2nd against the Penn State Nittany Lions.
