Josh Howard is a little lighter in his pocket after the NBA fined him.
Howard was fined $25,000 for his flagrant foul against San Antonio Spurs’ James Anderson. The fine was announced by the NBA’s Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Stu Jackson.
Howard was called for the flagrant foul one in the Jazz’s 104-89 loss to the Spurs on Saturday night. However, the league upgraded the foul to a flagrant foul two on Monday.
Howard was called for the flagrant foul with 3.3 seconds remaining in the third quarter. He considered signing with the Spurs this off-season, before signing with the Jazz.
