Nate Robinson is close to signing with the Golden State warriors.
The contract could be finalized as soon as Wednesday. It will be a one-year, $1 million dollar contract.
Robinson will come off the bench for the Warriors. He will play point guard, but is a scoring point guard.
He can score a lot of points, but is very inconsistent. He barely got off the bench last season with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He began last season with the Boston Celtics, then was traded along with Kendrick Perkins to the Thunder. He appeared in 59 games for both team’s last season.
He appeared in just four games for the Thunder, including three playoff appearances. He averaged 3.3 points and 1.5 assists in 7.5 minutes per game.
He was released by the Thunder on December 24th. It is unclear if his arrest for urinating in public outside a bookstore in New York City had anything to do with his release.
