Spikes talks for the first time since Week 9 about his knee injury

Brandon Spikes has talked to the media for the first time since an injury in Week 9.

After the injury to his knee, he missed seven straight games. He returned on Sunday in the win over the Buffalo Bills, but did not speak to the media.

“It was definitely a first time thing for me. I never really got hurt like that,” said Spikes to the media. “It’s good to be out there running around, making plays with the guys. It’s been a while and I’m just fortunate to be back on the field.”

He will continue to wear a brace on his injured knee.

“It’s just protection,” Spikes said of the brace. “I think it’s [more of] a mental thing for me. It’s good. I’m all set.”
